High school Hallways

by kaylie edgington   May 5, 2016

Your in high school
Walking through the halls
The whispers, secrets,
Gossip, and starring
It just gets to you
You can try to ignore it
After awhile it finds
Cracks in your shield
It hurts you
You start to cry when
Your by yourself
You act like it don't
Bother you because you
Don't want to let
Everyone know your weak
You keep it hidden
You try and stay strong
After awhile all the comments
Start and get to you again
This time you cant hold it together
You found your breaking point
After you break
You rebuild and you learn
Their thoughts and comments
Of you don't matter
It only matters what you see in yourself
Stay strong and carry on
Little angels

    Hello Katie

This is a poem that many who read will be able to relate to and have at least one experience of. Schools can be a very cruel place but the trick is, as you say, don't let the comments get to yo.
    Take care
    Ben
