Are you sure it's a virtue?

There's a real critical error if you think my tenderness is the minutiae.
If you understood my loyalty, you would be pressing my buttons furiously.
I pray for a swift resolution even though I already have my answer.
Your decision has made me want to grab the bull by the horns;
but I understand that we could not work like that.
Even though I am no longer waiting, time is verily the villain in this story.
Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, or suffering without getting angry or upset.
I've spent plenty idle time in my shell, and I am ready to walk indirectly towards the goal.
There are no hard feelings; because I would never make you attempt the improbable.
You better not confuse this for anyone else; because even the stranger knows these words are for you.
Our minds may be laid out with countless connections, but I can trace my finger along each thought.
Stop pouring oil where the water resides, it won't work with that combination.
Immerse yourself, especially if what you've told me is true about your pursuits.

    Wow, your words are always so elegantly written and beautiful to read.

    What I got from this (correct me if I'm wrong) is that you or someone has been chasing someone for some time and keep getting knocked back but don't give up because the chaser is patient and adamant in their pursuit and it eventually paid off because the chased ends up feeling the same.

    All the best, Em

      You probably explained that better than the poem illustrates it. Haha.

      Brownie points for you.
