The Empty Stare

by Yatubeera Resty   Jul 16, 2016

I see what you see, dream the same dreams
Long for the some desires, and will with the same spirit. Am you
Only difference is, some dogs were born lucky
Had a served waiting dish, a kennel built and someone to walk them by the parks

It's the same you know, your life and mine
Some relations, biology and matrix
Only difference is, those at the top have a better view
The sun starts with them and finds it's way to us in the valley later
While we get to share a piece, they have a loaf to squander

Tell you what, sit with me but for awhile
Walk in my steps and feel my world, only then shall you know
We are not that different, only thing is your already living your dream
While am still dreaming my dreams
But reality is, we both have the same empty Stare each time called "Striving".
