If only my tears
Were Texas rain, this summer
Heat would disappear.

If only my tears
Were Texas rain, the summer
Red would turn to blue.

    A wonderful, heartfelt and moving double haiku, Jessica.
    In honesty, I'm not often a fan of repetition of words in short forms but here it simply adds to the emotion.
    I'm sorry that this one passed me by until now; it really is excellent work.
