Fragrance of hope

She read my soul
cupping it with her arms
right I move, her smile I see
left I try, all I see is her eyes.
Dark cloud is lifted
breaking me with the sunlight
leaving fragrance of hope
Who knew my cold ice heart was capable of feeling.

    Shank what a beautiful little piece you have written. I agree with Ben though about it being ironic that the one thing that causes icy hearts is the one thing that cures them ans you portrayed this well. I guess love can be sp difficult at times yet beautiful.

    A beautiful and inspirational poem here. I've always found it ironic that the very thing that can cause a hard, cold heart is often the only thing that can cure it: love.
