Our Choices

by Ezeani Sunday   Oct 8, 2016

Why do we choose to die rather live
Why do we choose to wither rather gather
Why do we choose to kill rather save
Why do we choose to hinder rather tender

A glance around,
Sight of a world mired in peril
A world so boiled with wound
A world so madly and crazily ill

She needs another saviour
A saviour who will mount Calvary
He needs not be a sharp or smart warrior
But a man of good heart and chivalry

When things fall apart
We need not to shake or panic
We just need to stay alert
Beating the wing though we're weak

Let's choose well or we lose
Let's choose fearlessly or we're pinned on fence
Let's choose virtuously or we loose
Our divinely ingrained and walled conscience
