Writing in pain with his veins
Feeling his pulse in the pages
Laughing at the void in his bloodstream
Fading away with pride
To the verse he craved for

    This little gem dazzled PnQ this week!
    It was a joy to read and filled with such thought provoking imagery, I was amazed!

    Its dark and eerie, and yet captured the true mystery of a poet, writing.. the thoughts and emotions can be felt.. this was wonderful!

    Wow, this poem is incredibly beautiful and well written. I loved the picture you painted and emotion you evoked from this piece. Although it's short, every single line was powerful and packed a punch. That's when you know you've truly written a good poem, when every line helps carry the piece along and evokes emotion, painting a vivid picture all the while.
