My Mind

No one knows the real me
that's my serious side

My mind will never compromise
goofy when it's time to hide

Living with my ride or dies
with a connection of loneliness inside

Catch fire like a family
wondering why people care for me

Am I who I want to be
or just a melody?

If I leave this cage
and display what I am

Rage will flow the room
and I am the reason it blooms

What I say now I can't say in person
Afraid to speak my emotions

Hide pain with a smile
still thinking motivation is a thing
but it's not for me

Motivation for others
Happiness for my brothers
Pride for my mother
Corrupted by another

    Hello,

    There is a lot of poetry here. I like the rhymed end lines and inner rhyme too. I like the metaphoric content that hints so well of a secret that is yearning to be free.

    Once you've edited out the unwanted characters it'll look better.
