YOU GET GRACE AND WILL

by Ezeani Sunday   Nov 26, 2016

You must not be a lover of sulfa
Before you can turn the world
You must not a philosopher
Before you can rule the world
You get grace and will
To steer the world-wheel

You must not be a sky-looker
Before you can tell your story
You must not be a story-hawker
Before you can tell your story
You get grace and will
To steer the world-wheel

You must not be a power-drunkard
Before you can self-fend and self-defend
You must not be a 'wealthily' wayward
Before you can care and tend
You got the grace and will
To steer the world-wheel

You must not be lettered
Before you rewrite the crooked pasts
Tattered and battered
Self-change brazenly blasts and outlasts
All the historical hypocrisy and crises
Till you find love emancipating faces
