Consecration

by Aegis   Dec 17, 2016

Chaos begs to be soothed;
just as a candle flame begs to be stoked into an inferno.
Tonight a storm has been starved-
pressure builds within
my skull and my
chest.
Hurricanes have robbed me of breath and
my bones feel hollow and
damned.

Can nothing ameliorate my faltering heart?

I give my weathered soul as beneficence-
tribute to the Gods,
that one of them might offer me
sanctuary.

    Your writes have so much to them-I read them and re-read them and come up with so many things-well done-

    Another intriguing and sincere write about the pains of life and wanting to be free of the burdens you have been dealt or so I think..
