Slippery When Wet

by Aegis   Dec 17, 2016

Morning mist drifts through the streets,
and my eyelids gather
--------dewdrops that
---------------turn to icicles as they

--------crash.

Our path is frozen and I've
forgotten my shoes.

Great stuff, Aegis! What starts as a wonderfully poetic little write finishes with an abrupt sort of humour. I suppose the humour is amplified by the fact that the start is written so beautifully.

Well done and all the best,

    Ben

ps. Do go more carefully the next time you venture out in the ice!
