N, it's a hard thing to do. Turning off the negative in our life. Constant battles are drawn each day. Some days the negative wins other times we are able to break through. Keep fighting the fight. Just the fact you are able to write this tells me you are winning. Hugs-

I liked the beginning then in got sadder and sadder. I believe we can't turn these feelings off but we can learn to live with them well, I say learn we don't really have a choice.

    Take care, Em

    Naomi,

I was sorry to read this, but when I read it again, I could see that you referenced the gorgeous weather you Aussies are experiencing again and so I have very little sympathy. :)
Depression is never nice, and it's even harder to cope with at this time of year when we are told we should be happy!

Do take care and all the very best,

    Ben

How to shut it out? I wish I knew. I do however know that some wounds need opening with support so they can eventually heal. ((Hugs)) x

    HI Naomi,

PnQ is a big help to us poets coz we can share our feelings through this and it feel so good when friends are concerned about you, with your emotions and journy...

this is a heartfelt piece.Sometimes it's hard to figure out what to do in a situation you're at the moment...
What important is you tried something than doing nothing..

I hope you feel better now...
