Light Buld

by Ikenna Okafor   Feb 11, 2017

On a journey
a rumble and tumble
in the forest, I'm on the round
Using my senses
I feel a presence
Of a hungry lion, lurking around
My leg wounded
I look to and fro
Finding my protection out of reach
Feeling the fear
As the lion come near
Wondering why I didn't teach
An Idea sprout
I started to get tense then shout
My solution is in my hand
Praying this works
Sitting here thinking
That this is a pathetic plan
The lion appears
I'm in a puddle of tears
It pounces, I threw my solution in its face
The lion stops
Stiffs in horror
As it quickly flees the place
