Inside My Head

I close my eyes and listen to the sounds around me ..
It’s so quiet
So loud
So dark and so cold
I close my eyes and disappear inside the darkness of my thoughts
I take a deep breath and scream
Scream as hard as I can
I scream so loud but so quiet
I can hear my screaming inside my head ..
Inside my darkness
I keep screaming and screaming and screaming
And I keep screaming … but no one can hear me
Only I can hear my painful struggling desperate screaming
And I’m still screaming

    An interesting poem Vortex. Your words made me feel like I was inside your head.
    A well written, descriptive piece. I love the last line, 'And I’m still screaming.'

    Wow great write. The description was on point. I felt like I was within your mind hearing the screams. It's almost haunting. It's almost like being trapped within yourself. Once again well done
