Should Have Told You

by mary   Jul 9, 2004

I should have told you how I felt
And that with every word you speak, you make me melt
I should have told you that you make me smile
But I couldn't tell you because I was stuck in denial
I should have told you that you changed me
And that every time you looked at me, I was unable to breath
I should have told you, you turned my life around
And just by hearing your voice, you picked me up when I was down
I should have told you from the very first sign
That the moment I saw you, you had to be mine
I should have told you, you make me weak
And when I talk about you, I can barely speak
I should have told you, you make me cry
You do something to me, just by looking in your eyes
I should have told you, your in my dreams
And that your the only one for me
I should have told you how much I think about you
And how I just love the things you do
I should have told you, you're the one I'd claim
Little did I know, you felt the same
I should have just called you that night in my room
But I didn't know that something could've bloomed
I should have told you I loved you, when I had the chance to
Even though you felt the same, you thought I didn't care
So you moved on to someone new
Now I'm sitting here lonely
Because I was too scared to tell you how much you mean to me
And when I was living my life in misery
You were feeling the same about me
