In My Night

by Rhinehalt   Jun 6, 2017

Spacing out, my mind all a wander,
Under the shimmering stars,
My head held high,
Gazing at their endless beauty.
The aloofness of the windy air
Is refreshing the to heated skin.
Here in the darken shadows,
With no one there, only a pup's stare,
I feel at ease, a rare calm
That spreads from the inside to out.
In my quiet standing, looking to above,
I am claimed, with no fight.
