A young girls fears concealed with lies
So that they did not show
Until that dreadful day did come
The day she chose to go.

The day had been a beautiful one
Not one cloud in the sky
She opened up her curtains wide
And the sun shown in her eyes.

She blinked and squirmed and moved about
And then sat cold an still
She thought about her horrid life
And chose to write her will

For this young girl had spent her life
Cutting away the pain
That's why she chose to end it all
For she never wanted to cut again

She sat down in her favorite chair
Took out a picture frame
The one of her and her dad
At a special baseball game.

Tears ran down her rosy cheeks
She wiped them off her face
She knew that no one loved her now
For she was such a disgrace.

She took out a pen and a post it note
And wrote her last good byes
She left it on her pillowcase
As now was the time for her to die.

She pulled out the pills and took off the cap
She swallowed them one by one
The bottle was filled with many white pills
But she decided to go ‘til they were done.

So she lay on her bed with her music turned loud
Piecing together the events of the day
When slowly she fell in to a deep, dark sleep
And her life just slipped away.

**ha ha this has to be one of the worst poems i have ever written. when i wrote the first paragraph i thought it was going to be good but it turned into something different.

I enjoyed this one. It is a little wordy and lacks meter, but that in a way adds to the simplicity of it all. Keep it up.
