I really love this too Andrea, the imagery is beautiful and i believe the metaphor is about someone who is in love with the summertime and is reconnecting with nature or is already so connected with nature that they are apart of it. I do also feel this is a point of view poem and if so its a damn good one. You give the reader the perspective of someone who is looking outside or is looking and hearing everything around them. Well done.
