This may be an 'early years' poem, Craig, but your way with a good rhyme is obvious here. I like this a lot and particularly the last stanza.

Awww...I thought of the movie Dear John while reading this...when you are in a very difficult place love can surely inspire you to continue on. Lovely write and as Ben said, early years poem but your great rhyming is already evident.

What I'm struggling with is titles and not one of the my early rhymes has a tittle.
