Religions Prision

by Catnip3311   Oct 30, 2017

Religion, oh religion my strong walled prison
Religion Religion, My dark room hidden
How deep this darkness saturates my heart
How cold is your lifeless touch, your mark
I could change the world if it weren’t for Religion
I could free my heart if it weren’t for your prison
Who can hear my cry from within
Is it just these demons who can?
I heard of his nail Scarred Hands
I heard of this Son of Man
Will He come for me
Will he hear my voice
Will he offer me life
Will he give me a choice
Will his light enter this room
Will his voice warm my heart
Savior come quickly
come light my dark
In my greatest hope
In all my dreams
My soul gives way
to the King of Kings
Come now
come quickly
come take my heart
Im so numb
Help me feel Love
take away this Dark
Free me from this prison
Take away Religion
