"The further the journey takes me
The more I can disappear"
For me this is the peak of the piece. The obviousness of the fact that: 'the farther you go, the further you disappear,' have a great visual effect on the reader: seeing the disappearance is real. Though the poet herself seem not believeing that, because in the next stanza she finishes with this: "Just for a few days without a care." meaning she is really looking for a breather not a complete departure.

This is an amazing piece, really quite captivating. It's beautiful and it's almost like I can put myself there, watching her. Everyone needs a break now and then, "just for a few days without a care" as you so put it. Just a little escape from reality :) a lovely piece, my dear. Xx

Kitty this is awesome.

I think we all could do with escaping sometimes. Even if it's just for a little while.

Sometimes I find that life can get on top of me and in this case I just feel I need to get away from people. Some would argue that my life is pretty solitary due to work. However I still have to deal with people.
