A pain that I try so hard to hide
All I ever wanted was to be with you
But you took my love for granted and said we were through
And those words broke my heart in two
I went home with tears falling down my face
Wishing I was in your warm embrace
I gave you a call to see why we were through
You answered saying you found someone new
So I cried
