Stares in the night

by Axel   Jan 4, 2018

She stares at me through my window
Her eyes constant throughout the night
And even when the curtains are shut
I still feel her presence in the dark

She tucks me softly in bed
Making sure no evil rears its head
But when she is gone the fear returns
Her silvery eyes no longer holding my face

A ghostly light slowly creeps
Up until my bed she has reached
And when she is tired of hanging there
She looks from my other window, over my head

This starts off really sweet and in all honesty I thought it was a mother/grandmother tucking her son in to bed then in got a little spookier
