    I agree with the last line, Ken and the poem in general poses many interesting questions. I also believe, unfortunately, that sometimes we're just too darn clever for our own good!

    Wonderful write. I loved it

    We fear death and bad breath, we buy grave sites hoping never in them to lie, take every kind of pill not to get ill, it used to be the snake oil that gave the crowd the thrill.

      Thanks for that, Kereen, btw, when we were in Jamaica, the weather prevented us from the most popular areas but we were able to go to Saint Mary's and to the house where Churchill planted a foot high tree that now is about 30 feet tall. My wife attended a Cooking Class there, and made some traditional Jamaican dishes.

    This is really stunning and remarkable... a poem enriched of love and life... really enjoyed it my fav line “ A charming person you came to adore, but not happy when at night they snore!” This bring so much fun and love while reading. There are lots and lots embed in this verse. CRAFTY KEN this is your master piece.
