I don't understand

I physically can't grasp the fact that your gone,
I can't mentally grasp that your not here to hold me anymore,
I can't imagine me doing this on my ow,
I guess it was time for you to rest,
Now it is time for me to do it on my own,
I will miss the times we spent together but it will get better.
I hope,
The future isn't so bright right now but it will be one day.
You may be gone but forever watching over us.
