Purple heart

by Beautiful Tragedy   Aug 7, 2018

I painted a purple heart on my face
for you.
I’ve been waiting for tonight for six
months;
And as I count down the hours until I will finally get to see Taylor Swift live in concert I continue to really wish that you could come share this with me.
My hands are shaking as I pace back
and forth;
Way too excited and nervous to get ready but wanting to do it anyways even
Though the gates don’t open for another four hours.
Taylor Swift haha Woah;
I can’t believe I actually get to do this-
But when I went to Hawaii for two weeks I couldn’t believe that either and;
I guess you could say I’m catching up on all the things I wasn’t allowed to do
my whole life but I know for a fact I’m also keeping busy so I don’t have time to
miss you.
I know you wanted to be here to share this with me but it’s okay-
Really.
Because even if you’re not here in person right now cause you have to work;
You’re still here in the purple heart that
I painted on my face for you.

    Loving this.

    As a guy who doesn't see much of his family and hasn't for 20 years because of work It's nice to know that people perhaps still think of us.

    Regards

    Craig
