As I sit

by Victoria Ramey   Dec 17, 2018

You see me there,
I'm sitting here,
A product of a monet,
Looks like I'll never be your worth,
A price tag off your claim,
I can write a thousand words,
But none will see your face,
Tear apart all these pages,
Scribble out what has invaded,
These secret thoughts I cannot say yet,
Let me just throw them all away,
I know I will never be worth your time,
A perfect image from your mind,
It's a hard truth I've bled inside,
But its alright,
I'm just fine,
I'll just sit here and write these lines,
None of which will see your eyes,
Ones of which control my life,
As you see me there,
Sitting here....
