Love is not loved

by Christopher Hardwick   Jan 9, 2019

Loving you was hard , I mean like you left things so cold ,and there was where my heart would roam ,There I was down such a lonely road , and there also were so many sad songs and composition books put aside with side notes and wishes , I swore at times I’d never make it home , Nope, not to a hot meal and a book to read , While in a rocking chair by the fireplace , nope , not ever seeing that place being the smile on your face , while you read my mind and could foresee the joke I was about to tell , your laughter was a spell cast , we knew the waves of our lives , we often linked the vibes , we latched eyes and knew how soon and we also knew how doomed we where too, we were not supposed to hurt ourselves , but the weakness of our love was the strongest weapon to push us away from ourselves , you keep trying , you keep dying for me , and I keep lying to myself and prying your love out, what I’m about to do now is let your love out my hearts door ... xoxoxoxo
