The word is heaviness . You combined the corporeal heaviness and spiritual one so skilfully with flipping of concept but not the word. The theme is intact all over

A feeling of disconnection from the world is, I am sure, a theme many of us can relate to. Why are so many 'heavy' thinkers this way inclined? Is it our past, or just the lenses we view the world through?

I like the extending metaphor which aptly describes the theme. I like too that you leave the reader feeling hope for this condition. We all need hope and there is always potential with an image of a blossom.

    Take care. x

The heaviness of disconnection is brilliantly portrayed here and is something felt by many at some time in their lives. Milly x

A simple but evocative word as your title. I like the introspectiveness of your poetry; it’s healthy to ask questions. Your inquisitive nature serves your poetry well, even though you may or may not be finding your answers. Well written as ever :)
