My advice is to...cry. But only for a certain time. Let all the emotion in, let it wash over you and then just say 'enough'. Easy to say, but crying can get the better of you after too long.

Take care and all the very best,

    Ben

An emotional poem, no doubt, and I hope someday that the tears won't always mean loss, whether loss of memories or moments of joy. That the tears won't always symbolize the past and wanting to forget or that chaotic in between when moving on from something or someone.

Tears are tricky that way, because it's not always black and white, and often bittersweet instead. You captured that well here.

Yes, a very sad piece indeed and the repetition made it sound like an uncontrollable cry which just doesn't stop. Well written and I hope this has helped you trying to get it all out and hopefully moving on to higher grounds.

The uncontrollable cry is exactly what I was trying to capture. Yes, writing this piece has helped me release certain emotions that needed to come to light. Thank you!!

The repetition really works very well here. Sometimes it is good to cry to get things out of your system but crying for too long can become damaging. Take care. Milly x
