Let me care for you
As angels do--
With noble and pure love.
Let me care for you--
Even if you're blue
With love from up above.
Let me care for you
And only you--
Like you're a wounded dove.
Let me care for you
And make your heart anew--
As warmth and comfort from a glove.
Let me care for you
And take the pain from you
Until there's only love.
Because I do love you.
