Drowning Tears

by Muhammad Amiruddeen   Apr 20, 2019

Drowning in painful tears
With eyes sorely red
Emotions uncaged
Running wild like prime fire
Ignited by grief that left me all alone
In the last hours of September's end
I never thought I had it in me
Feelings that runs so deep and blink
I never thought I could cry
Until it becomes crystal to me
That I can burst in fury
What is wrapped must come to light
Some loss is too great to hide
And true love is never hidden even if you try.

In the blessed memory of my dearest love; my mom.
