Heart Breaker

by zvikov chirema   May 10, 2019

She's a wild flower in a summer field
You can't pick her up she cannot yield
She does what she wants, she's carefree
Love is a prison she said, can't you see?

She said, don't fall in love
No flowers no Valentine
She said, don't give me your heart
When you do I will be walking out

She's a beauty, she's a rare sight
Is there a man she can't mesmerize?
She is classy, she can show you style
When she's ghetto better be on her side

She said, she don't fall in love
Just wants fun baby, if you have the time
She said, she don't have no heart
Leave when you want, you know the way out

She's a Heart Breaker

Sometime the very nature of the attraction is the 'cant have' element. Still the moth is attracted to the flame that will destroy it. A nice character observational piece. Milly x

I couldn't help but start humming Mariah Carey's 'Heartbreaker' by the end of this one!
    Anyway, well written.

    Take care
