I opened myself up,
I saw myself smile,
I allowed myself to listen,
I heard my heart rejoice,
I walked through the door,
I walked all the way.
and I felt the sweet touch of love

I sat through the stories.
But to me, they did not apply
I lived the promise
I have never felt so alive
I had a dream,
and I lived it for a while

As the door slammed behind me,
I heard it all shatter,
I asked the questions,
I heard no reply,
has this become my reality?
I rephrased myself,
Is this how ends?
The door opened again,
