Poor Kids

by Sive Klaas   Jul 27, 2019

The torments
of a caring heart
The laments
of deadly demons

Ramble red - handed
over the streets where words
were abandoned

We jabbered, jabbered, jabbered
And left it all bleeding -

The forsaken world,
Beauty beyond beauty.

We spoke of tedious things,
Instead.
"did you enjoy the lesson?"
O', poor kids.

We realized. And
It was tardy.

But the memories;
Which i live - are now,
Coral red

Like blood of a lamb
dropping over high walls.
Yes, we were young, and I, a lad.
We had a world, but.
We parallel now.

And today, we hating on each other
Today, the 27th of July 2019
I let go of you.
