Love's Language

by RustySoul   Aug 4, 2019

It speaks to us in thousand ways,
Ushering light into darkest days,
A voice to reassure all is right
All the gloom would emerge bright.

A momentary comfort to soothe the mind,
Into whose arms does one find
The yearning warmth in times of cold,
A strong assuring hand to hold.

But know this; love isn't easy to earn
One must, like an ember, burn
And endure all that comes his way
To experience love every day.
