The Seven Sins

The Seven Sins

Lust
Alters your vision,
Melts your brain,
Causes collision,
Rejection Turns To pain.

Pride
Roar like a lion,
Sing songs of your praise,
But when you are dying,
Who will visit before you’re gone,
And sing songs of your praise

Greed
Have all the money,
All the fame.
But also,
Have friends drove away,
Don’t know who you can trust.
Friend turns to enemy
Love turns to Lust

Sloth
Lie on the couch,
Lie in bed,
Go ahead and slouch,
But your lack of movement,
Will leave you dead.

Gluttony
Eat cake,
Eat pie,
Eat more and more,
And watch everyone you know,
Say Bye.
Eat because your sad,
Sad because you ate.
Wishing it would end,
Your world filled with hate.

Envy
Someone did this,
Someone did that,
They got a shirt,
They got hat,
But I want to do this,
I want to do that,
I want that shirt,
I want that hat,
With all these wants,
All others want,
Is to get away from you.

Rage
The fire in your soul.
Wraps around you
Like water in a bowl.
Like Puppet master to puppet,
Like rich man to slave,
Like Rage to you.

Number 8
All the above.
The sins are bad,
They make you sad, mad and definitely not glad.
Can they be stopped?
Perhaps, but by who?
The only one who can stop your sins,
Is you.
