A Closer Walk With Thee

by William Lowe Jr   Nov 15, 2019

If a man gained the whole world, but lost his soul;
Where would he be?
Would he be lost, crossed from The Book for
forever & eternity?
Or would God grant him the chance to repent &
reverse his destiny?
Free from being forced to travel in dark - cold,
lost & empty.
Forever forsaken, living without grace, under certain
& endless misery.
The resemblance between he & I is unmistakable & clear
for all to see.
The characteristics of this man & his struggles, live
on the inside of me.
A raging river powered by a storm, that I can not
seem to flee.
Exposed now by Kyrie's loving touch, that warrants
absolute surety
That can defeat my demons & bridge the gap from
me to purity.
With her inner beauty & Godly worth, written by Peter
in chapter three........
But, in the end this is God' choice, until then we'll
pray without cease.
That we will meet our Lord high in the sky & take
that Closer Walk With Thee!
