Thank you Daniel. It was very jarring to be a part of this. I live in lower Michigan and we see very little snow and its usually not staying until January. We got close to a foot of it and frigid temps. Fall was gone overnight. Thankfully it warmed back up again and the trees started shedding their leaves so it's not so weird out there.
Wonderful observations of autumn and composed with poetic flair and a keen sense of expression, as in, ‘donned her widow weeds’, picture-perfect. All in all, a marvellous poem.
