Comfortable in my own skin

by Andrew Packard   Nov 26, 2019

Comfortable in my own skin

I breath it in
I exhale again
I’m comfortable in my own skin

I twist and shout
I lie about
I’m comfortable in my own skin

Here try it out
Go on, want to try it on?
Just let me take it from the inside out

Hold on I got it
This won’t hurt a bit
You just need to make a little slit

That’s it, now hold this and pull real hard
I’ve got this, done this before
It’s only left me a little scarred

Now if I can just stretch it far enough
Just pull back my jaw
Oh god this is rough

There …. It bleeds
A small price of crimson
To relieve me of this sinewy prison

Here you can have it
I don’t want it anymore
So woke I can breathe again
So comfortable without my skin
