A couple of years

In snow, we live, on rocks
On shores, we live, on sand
In cities, we live, in blocks
On every given land

In peace, we live, in war
If sick, we live, if sain
Always seeking more
To soothe our ill brain

We fail, we shed tears
We win, of joy we leap
Just a couple of years
Before we go to sleep
