Wise years

Wise years
(Written in Terza Rima)

A lesson I learned o'er the years
Through my mind numb and thick
Of how I gave my smiles and tears,

A times when I was really sick
I wondered why injustice ruled,
And wished time to pass quick.

Only when I got my health tuned
And regained my force, I thought
Not of my illness past wound

But justice in my words I sought,
And wished time to slowly pass
And beauty I sang and taught.
