A lamenting soul

A lamenting soul

One day, my door was opened wide
And a pilgrim stood there
I invited him, by my side
And offered him a chair

For sure I said, you roam a lot
Across the mist and tide
You seek the truth, to heal the rot
What's your quest by my side?

Not a truth seeker, not to heal
I roam only to hide
Thus he did say and cry and kneel
And weep long, by my side.
