I just love this poem and wish I had been fortunate enough to nominate it but, the main thing is, although Mark beat me to it, it will still reach the judges eyes and that's the main thing.
I think the potential to escape into a world of make believe (even for a short period) was very appealing and there was so much going on here that my imagination was able to run riot for quite some time haha!!
I read a book once called Between the Lines where the characters lived their own lives as they pleased between the lines of the fairy tale until the book was opened and then they had to jump back into character. For some reason your verse reminded me of that story.
Anyway, this is an absolute gem of a poem and I hope the judges will agree with me. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks a lot Hellon. It was the second to fourth time that I posted this poem without any luck or even like. I was thinking maybe something is drastically wrong with it. Haha I have quite a lot of ignored poems like this.
Thank you again.
