I’m A Happy Rubber Duck

by Cantchangeme   Apr 3, 2020

Bobbing past bubbles
In the warm I’m a happy rubber duck
I love to swim round and round
But recently I’ve been rather stuck

My swimming partner
Loves my yellow feathers and my smile
And when she’s feeling sad
She plays and sings to me for a while

I would love to see her grin
But we’re facing separate ways
She must be feeling happy
Since I’ve been swimming now for days

Yet I keep smiling
My happy orange beak shall never frown
Even as my pond
Has turned from clear to red, to brown

Oh I love my swimming partner
I can’t believe my luck
I’m happy to swim here forever
I am such a happy rubber duck
