Gone

by Shania Edwards   Apr 16, 2020

I watched her take her last breathe'
But she didn't say a word
She was as silent as the night time
She seemed as free as a bird
At last she was at rest
From all the pain and all the misery
No one else could her and for that she was happy
Her blood flowed down her arms
The bath tub has with sweet red water
you should have been there when she needed you
You should have been there for you daughter
