I said yes but I'm not the bride

by Lyn Aribaca   May 15, 2020

Like a cloud
I felt like heaven
He gave me the ring
I dreamed of it forever

He asked me the question
Which everyone else wishing for
"Will you marry me?"
A moment of 'I couldn't ask for more'

This beat roads to forever
I'll held up with you until our last tomorrow
I'm fine going anywhere with you from today
As a promise, together each day

We've gone this far
I'm ready to walk down in the aisle
Best picture of a lady in white
I'll have the happiest smile

But day came
You didn't come around
Losing my mind
What have you done?

I heard you've changed
You wanna change your destiny
Telling, you don't want it with me
I'm not the one you want it to be

My tears fell down looking this ring
The ring which is not mine
I'm not the one,I thought should be
Wearing this White dressed up lady

A sad piece Lyn, some times its not meant to be.

*the first word of your last verse, should it read 'wearing'?*:)
