We Waved

by BOB GALLO   May 28, 2020

First you were just an itching indentation
and I was a swollen pain
a bloated need!

I burned for you to calm my ache
of getting home
into a cozy ease

And you needed me
to imbue your gorge
to bridge your hollow, the subterranean of your whims.

But our desire was so extreme
and our satisfaction was so jubilant,
so severe,
We rippled
we echoed
and in our vibration distances born.

We waved
throughout the space.

And our echoes survived
and that is
how eternity
vibrated to presence.
