Divergence

by BOB GALLO   Jun 3, 2020

Come on baby what are you doing to me, thus to us?
I am a person not a commodity that you can replace with something anew, something better.
after you are in love there are no point of comparison
neither in subject nor to the others.
There are neither comparison in object,
nor
in love.

We're not a step that you can climb to higher ones.
When you get to love someone, when your souls mingle,
that’s it.

When you know me, loved, for years
there are no new introductions to my flaws anymore
that you could leverage as excuse.

Why keeping options open?
I am your captive of love not an accessory .
I am a soul,
through me you can open your window to everlasting,
to us,
to …

Why are you looking for an other window
the next beautiful view is going to be as old as this one again
whey haven't you search for something ageless.
Because on the other side there are no location and betterment looking at outside.
the outside is just within ourselves
and looking for material things
and seeing commodity in the others
lowers and truncate our own windows, our panoramas.

I am only a person,
a window
but after our souls tossed together
and vined against each other
-as pillar for our bilateral grape,
entwined limb, holding wine chalices,-
the searches are over.
we belong to one another

I am the window
as you are for me.
