The Freedom To Be Slaves

by Mary   Jun 26, 2020

May I be found in Christ to be His slave
And never a slave to sin.
For I have been crucified with Christ
and it is No longer I who lives
But Christ who lives in me.
Now I'm Freed
Freed Indeed!

I am a slave to Christ
Bought and paid for
To live my life for Him.

To live a life of freedom to love
With joy and patience,
kindness and goodness,
self-control and peace.
In the Fruits of His Holy Spirit
To live and move and have my being.

It's the Holiness and Righteousness
of Christ that I crave.
So give me liberty or give me death?
Just give to me the liberty to
Be Christ's slave.

"For if we have been united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, that our body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin." Romans 6:5-7
